Detailed Budgetary Estimate for State Level Energy Conservation Plan :
Dissemination about Energy Conservation :
1.4.1. - Preparation of promotional materials like Pamphlets, Brochures and Posters etc.
i) Pamphlets :
• Consumer Strength : 2 Lakh
• Mode of Distribution : Through Electricity Bills
• Language : English and local dialects
• Cost per Pamphlets : Rs.2.00
• Pamphlets will be distributed in all Quarterly Energy Bills for the First Year and thereafter once in a year for the next Four Years
• Total Number of Pamphlets required for the First Year = 8 Lakhs
• Total Number of Pamphlets required for the next 4 Years = 6 lakhs
• Cost involvement for the First Year = Rs.16 lakhs
• Cost involvement for the subsequent years = Rs.6.0 Lakh per year
• Total Cost involvement = Rs24 lakhs
ii) Brochures :
• Target Group – Municipalities (26), Village Councils (1274), DM & SP Offices (11), Universities (1), Medical / Engineering Colleges & Polytechnic Colleges (10) and other Government Offices (100)
• Overall Target Group – 1395 say 1400
• Distribution – 25 Nos. for each establishment over the five (5) years
• Total Number of Brochures required per year = 1400 x 5 = 7000
• Estimated Cost per Brochure – Rs.30.00
• Cost involvement per year – Rs.2.1 lakhs per year
• Total Cost involvement = Rs.(2.1x 5) lakhs = Rs.10.5 lakhs
iii) Posters :
• Target Group – Block Level to District Head Quarters
• Total Cost per year including Design = Rs.4.0 Lakh
• Total Cost involvement for 4 year = Rs.16.0 Lakh
1.4.2. - Propagation of EE through School Education.
Drawing & Slogan Competition among School Children :
• Total Cost involvement during five (5) years = Rs.15 Lakh
1.4.3. - Organizing Awareness campaign on EE Products and services.
Campaign through Daily Newspapers:
• Total Cost involvement during five (5) years = Rs.20.0lakhs
Video clipping through Cable Operator:
• Total Cost involvement during five (5) years = Rs.30 lakhs
Campaign through Bill-Boards etc.:
• Total cost for five years: Rs.5.0 Lakh x 5. = Rs.25 lakhs

• Total Cost involvement for EC Day Celebration for five (5) years = Rs.25.0 Lakh
1.4.5. - Constitution of EC Award.
• Total Cost for five years: Rs.30000/- x 5 = Rs.1.5 Lakh
